Mix the following ingredients in a blender until smooth:
6 oz organic soy, coconut or almond milk
2 scoops organic whey protein
1 tbsp organic flaxseed oil
1 cup organic fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 tsp Calcios*
This smoothie is healthy for all bodies, but especially for women that may have osteoporosis and are trying to increase their bone density. Also, a great breakfast for children on the go. If you choose to use regular cow’s milk and you live in the U.S., choose either organic milk or milk that comes from cows’ not given recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH) – bottom line; milk from cows’ given rBGH contain pus and antibiotics. *This smoothie incorporates Edgar Cayce’s recommended calcium supplement, Calcios. He stated that this form of calcium, which comes in a paste, is easily digested and absorbable. Calcios has a slightly nutty flavor and can also be spread on crackers or toast, but I like it best in a smoothie.
