1 lb. cranberries
1 pear, remove stem & seeds and cut into chunks
2 tsp. grated orange zest
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 cup apple cider
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, pear, orange zest, and sugar; stir in the apple cider.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer. Stir occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, about 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
